He has over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry and joined Sompo in February 2023. Gabriel’s background includes various key roles that deepened his understanding of the industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in Mexico, providing a solid foundation for addressing the challenges in insurance. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in underwriting, reinsurance, and operations. For the last ten years, Gabriel has focused on developing global programs and cultivating strategic partnerships in the LATAM region, leveraging his knowledge of international markets and regulatory challenges to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
