SINGAPORE – December 8, 2023 – Sompo announced today that Pablo Diago has joined the company as Head of Claims, Commercial Insurance, Asia Pacific (APAC). He will be based in Singapore and report into Paul O’Neill, President of Commercial Lines Insurance, APAC.
Mr. O’Neill said, “As Sompo continues to build upon its commercial lines capabilities globally, having a strong claims function and leader in APAC is imperative. Pablo’s deep understanding of the region’s risk environment will strengthen our ability to deliver on the promise we make to our business partners and further enhance the service we provide to our brokers and clients. Mr. Diago has over a decade of experience in the Singapore insurance industry, gained in roles with Marsh, HDI Global and most recently, Crawford and Company. He graduated with a law degree from University Carlos III of Madrid and transitioned to insurance from a senior associate position with Deloitte.
