PEMBROKE, Bermuda, November 30, 2022 — Sompo International Holdings Ltd., a leading global provider of commercial and consumer property and casualty (re)insurance, announced today that Ron Willett will join the organization as Executive Vice President, Field Management for the North America Region, Commercial Insurance. Ron will report to Jonathan Monks, Executive Vice President, Head of Distribution, Business Development & Client Engagement for North America and will be based in Boston.
In this newly created role, Mr. Willett will be responsible for leading the geographic expansion efforts while continuing to build the field infrastructure for the North America commercial insurance business.
Ron comes to Sompo with over 30 years of industry experience, most recently as the North America Retail Distribution Leader at AIG, where he has spent the last 26 years.
